Day 1: Depart Marrakech and travel over the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass to Ouarzazate and the Dades Valley. Meet your mule team and begin a short hike. Overnight in a mountain bivouac in the Mgoun region. (1.5–2 hours walk, 6 hours drive)
Day 2: Trek through the Mgoun Gorges following the Oued Mgoun river. Walk among terraced fields, small rivers, and traditional Berber villages. Overnight near Aguerzagua village. (4–5 hours trek)
Day 3: Continue hiking past the dramatic Amejgag gorges and cross the plains of Alemdoun. Discover fortified earthen villages and meet shepherds along the way. Overnight in bivouac or local homestay. (4–5 hours trek)
Day 4: Morning transfer to the Sahara via Tinghir and the Todra Gorge. Arrive at Mhamid El Ghizlane, the gateway to the desert. Enjoy a night in a comfortable fixed camp with traditional hammam access. (5.5 hours drive)
Day 5: Begin your camel-supported trek through the desert to the mystical site of Sidi Naji. Walk across rocky plateaus and golden dunes. Overnight in a nomadic desert camp near the Sidi Naji mausoleum. (3.5 hours walk)
Day 6: Cross a dry lakebed to reach the remote dunes of Erg Zahar, known as the "singing dunes." Climb the highest dune for a stunning sunset. Camp in the silence of the Sahara, under tent or beneath the stars. (4 hours walk)
Day 7: Meet your 4x4 vehicle and return to the fixed camp along the Draa River. Optional hammam and lunch at camp before transferring back to Marrakech via Ouarzazate. (Full-day drive)
