Day 1: Depart from Marrakech in a 4x4 and head south via the Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass (2,260m). Take the scenic Ounila Valley and visit the historic Glaoui Kasbah. Continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and famous film location. After a break in Ouarzazate, drive through the stunning Draa Valley to Agdz. Overnight in a traditional guesthouse in the heart of the palm grove, dinner included.
Day 2: Travel deeper into the Draa Valley, stopping in small villages and enjoying short walks in the palm groves. Visit Zagora and stop in Tamegroute to see the green pottery workshops and ancient Quranic library. Arrive in Mhamid at the edge of the Sahara and take a short camel ride at sunset. Dinner and overnight in a nomadic-style desert camp under the stars.
Day 3: Wake up to the sunrise over the dunes and enjoy a camel ride before breakfast. Begin the return journey to Marrakech, stopping for lunch in Agdz. Visit the kasbah of Tamnougalt before arriving in Marrakech by early evening.
